It's the middle of a new week, and there's a lot going on in the world right now...
I'm sure you don't need me to go into details about that, but there are details of something on my heart that needs to be shared..
But before I do, I want you to know that of course I understand you're afraid, I get it, and I'm fully aware of the dramatic situation happening across the globe right now...
I'm refusing to let what's happening right now be a convenient excuse.
An excuse for you to settle.
I've been receiving messages from so many people, from audience members to paying clients and students, with so many people using what's going on right now as a way to hold back and put off building and growing their dreams..
As if the world doesn't need you right now.
Which we both know is an absolute lie.
It's time for us - including myself - to ditch the limitations and step the heck up.
Because I've even allowed the external circumstances of the world right now...
My amazing husband Pat and I were having so many discussions just the other day, because it seems like clients and students that both of us work with keep coming up with the same resistances.. the same self-sabotaging patterns..
It's like they kept looking for another problem, another reason to get in their own way.
(Psst - if this is striking a cord with you, good, because that means it's just an area of you that could be shown a bit more love & accountability)
Anyway.. because we had so many 'a-ha' moments and breakthroughs between each other, I thought I'd share our insights & experiences with you.
On this week's Monday Night #REALTALK, we covered this entire topic in detail...
>> BELIEVE & YOU WILL RECEIVE <<
Here's some of the major shifts:
>> No matter WHAT goal you have, the very first thing you need to embody is knowing that if you want it, it's already yours
>> Stop looking for all the reasons what you want won't work out...
I can't believe it.
As I'm sitting here right now typing this away on my keyboard, I'm literally going over all of the incredible things I've accomplished in the last 365 days.
Things I thought were truly, truly impossible.
Like becoming a Master Life and Success Coach + Master Practitioner in NLP, Hypnotherapy, EFT.
Like $200k in sales.
Like working with perfect-fit clients and students.
Like signing up to work with my dream coach.
And now, going into 2020, here's what's on my goal list:
Become a Trainer of Life + Success Coaching, NLP, EFT + Hypnotherapy.
Enrol 200+ students in the Happy on Mondays Coaching Certification Method.
Abstain from alcoholic drinks over the next year.
Read at least 26 books.
Commit to working out 5-6x per week.
Purchase my dream home with my dream husband Pat.
To get these goals, my next-level identity and current container needs to shift.
To do that, I went over a simple and powerful technique that I talked about in this week's Monday Night...
You know when you want something so much, you get into a bit of an obsession about it?
Like, major stress kicks in and it becomes really tough to push through and achieve it?
Wouldn't you like to know how to let go of the how, so you can actually reach your goal without pulling your hair out or spinning in circles?
On this week's Monday Night #REALTALK, we covered this entire topic in detail.
Here's some of the major shifts:
>> Overthinking the 'how' of my goal of making 100k in my first year of business led to stress and panic mode
>> Trying to control your journey and how things will unfold is not how the universe works
>> Working through my own limiting beliefs and fears using NLP, EFT & Hypnotherapy helped me completely move through scarcity mode in setting my first really ambitious goal
>> Focus on the 'what' (your goal) instead of all the little tiny details (the 'how') to avoid scarcity and neediness (the opposite of what's necessary to attract...
Have you set some big and beautiful goals for the new year?
And have you set new year goals before, only to never end up achieving them?
Yep - me too (that is, before I learned cutting-edge mindset tools like NLP + hypnosis).
Because without these tools, it's hello major procrastination + self-sabotage...
Wouldn't you like to know how to overcome this.. once and for all?
Just click here to learn these life-changing tips from this week's Monday Night #REALTALK on Goals + Self-Sabotage, and implement them yourself starting today!
Here's some of the major shifts we talked about:
I wanted to talk with you about something super important for creating success in any area of your life… and yes, you guessed it, it comes down to your mindset.
I’ve been fascinated with studying the field of NLP this year, so I wanted to teach on the topic of ALWAYS ASSUMING THE BEST in your life, in your career, in your relationships, in your business.. (full in-depth video on this here)
A perfect example?
I just received access to go LIVE on LinkedIn after 5 months of applying, waiting, applying, waiting…
Did I give up? You know me - absolutely not!
I kept pushing. I kept assuming the VERY best.
I kept assuming that *obviously* LinkedIn would let me in on being able to go LIVE.
I kept expecting it would come my way.
And nearly half a year later.. It’s arrived.
And that’s why this topic is SO relevant - about getting something you’ve been waiting for, for months.
This is why we always need to be always assuming the best out of...
I'm sitting here in my cozy Toronto apartment thinking about all of the NO'S that I've heard this year while taking sales calls.
In fact, I've heard a massive amount of NO'S this year.
Clearly, hearing that many NO'S was not a part of my plan for promoting and selling the 2020 RISE coaching program.
Of course, sales calls are just one of the many ways many entrepreneurs, myself included, can have things go a little off-road, a little off-plan..
That's why last night on my weekly #REALTALK, we got into the nitty-gritty topic of how to pivot when things don't go as planned in your business.
Trust me, there's been so many times in the past year of being full-time in my coaching business where things didn't go as planned.
I cried on livestreams. I panicked on the floor of my bathroom. I worried and got in my own way.
I've been there - more times than I can count on two hands.
But here's the thing...
It doesn't matter how many times things don't work out according to...
Last night on my weekly #REALTALK we went deep into how self-doubt and comparison can literally cripple you at any stage of business (if you let it) and especially so when you're just starting out!
In fact, I could do the same:
Who am I to be a business coach? There's plenty of other business coaches out there, what even makes me different? Why would someone want to work with me?
You see, we could all go there - into that self-doubt and comparison trap..
Which is also a big reason why some people succeed and others don't. They let themselves get in their own way. It's not about what others are creating... it's about what YOU want to be creating!
Here's what I suggest reflecting on ASAP and implementing right away...
Well, let's just say last night was a wild Monday Night #realtalk.
I talked on a subject that most people in the online world aren't willing to talk about..
Which is the identity shift of a new coach, and the following identity shifts that happen after that (plus, the pitfalls where most people tend to get stuck - which is why they struggle to reach the next level in their life and business, even when they're seemingly doing "all the right things")
Here's the first two stages of the "identity journey" I talked about, but trust me.. this is just the tip of the iceberg - you're definitely going to want to grab yourself a notebook, your favourite pen and get cozy with me as I drop a lot of #realtalk ...
Struggling to own your "title" as a coach, scared to put yourself out there for fear of judgement from colleages, friends or family.. or worse, you've got a lot of inner dialogue along the lines of..
It's clearly the most common fear out there for new entrepreneurs.
Getting your face on social media is quite a big deal!!!
And although you might be seeing me show up online all the time and you're like:
"Mimi! It seems so easy for you! It's "natural" for you."
It sure wasn't easy for me either. Hello! I am human just like you.
It's funny because I've been practicing this muscle for the last 2 years now and I almost forgot what it's like when you are just starting out.
But I've been digging into the archives to analyze the journey I've been on...
As a fun exercise, I wanted to check out my very first video and for some reason, I can't find it.
I think I was so ashamed of how awkward it was that I decided to delete it...lol
It was a video of me explaining how I learned to put contact lenses on...lol how relevant haha!
But, I've found some pretty good ones in the early stages of my business and I really want you to check them out to see the evolution between Feb 2018 and...
